Manufacturer Groups
Use the Manufacturer Groups screen to associate specific groups of part Types to a Vendor/Sale Account for the PAR206 report. Once associated with a Sale Account and/or Vendor, the PAR206 report includes an extra section for the selected groupings. For example, if Sale Account 32001 has Type Range A-B configured for vendor DEERE and Type Range C-Z configured for vendor DEEREA, the PAR206 report includes two extra sections for Sale Account 32001/DEERE and Sale Account 32001/DEEREA.
Note: The PAR206 report is generated during the parts month end process if the Parts Month End field is set to print on the System Settings: Company screen.
The Manufacturer Groups screen is accessed by clicking a Sale Account or the Need to create a new manufacturer group? Click here to add. link on the Manufacturer Groups screen.
The fields on the Manufacturer Groups screen are:

| Sale Account | The sale account that the system creates a section for in the PAR206 report, according to the Vendor/Type Ranges configured below. |
| Active for System | Denotes whether the groupings associated with the selected account are active and are included on the PAR206 report. |
| Type Range/Vendor |
Specify the part Type Range and Vendor you want the system to create a section for in the PAR206 report. The Type Range field is free form and the system does not perform checks to validate that the values entered are actual part types configured in the system. Make sure the part types you enter in this field are valid. |
Use these buttons to complete your work on the Manufacturer Groups screen:

| Save | Saves the selected groupings. |
| Save & Next | Saves the selected groupings and refreshes the screen, allowing you to configure the groupings for the next account listed on the Manufacturer Groups listing screen. |
| Copy | Refreshes the screen while maintaining the selected Type Range/Vendor groupings, allowing you to copy them to another Sale Account. |
| Close | Closes the Manufacturer Groups screen. |
