Type Codes
The Type Codes screen allows you to add or edit a type code.
To open the Type Codes screen, click a Type Code or the Need to add a type? Click here to add link on the Type Codes screen.
The fields on the Type Codes screen are:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Code | A two character alphanumeric code which represents the type code used to categorize unit's into types (e.g. tractors). |
| Description | A brief description of the type code. |
Use these buttons to complete your work on the Type Codes screen:
| Button | Description |
|---|---|
| Save | Saves changes made on theType Codes screen. |
| Copy |
Copies the selected type code. This button appears only by accessing theType Codes screen by clicking on a Type Code. |
| Save & New |
Saves a newly added type code and refreshes the Type Codesscreen, allowing you to add another type code without closing the screen. This button appears only by accessing the Type Codesscreen by clicking the Need to add a type? Click here to add link. |
| Save & Next |
Allows you to save any edits/changes made to the selected type code and scroll through to the next type code in the list to apply any edits/changes. This button appears only by accessing the Type Codesscreen by clicking on a Type Code. |
| Delete |
Deletes the selected type code from the system. This button appears only by accessing the Type Codesscreen by clicking on a Type Code. |
| Close | Closes the Type Codes screen without saving and returns to the Type Codes screen. |
