Rate Authorization

Use the Rate Authorization tab to review any pending, accepted, declined or cancelled rental rate authorization requests. See About the Rental Rate Authorization System.

To open the Rate Authorization tab, navigate to Product Support > Rental > Supervisor, then click the Chevron and select Rate Authorization from the pop up menu.

Search fields on the Rate Authorization tab are:

Field	Description
Select Location	Search for a request by location.
Select Contract Number	Search for a request by rental contract number.
Select Stock Number	Search for a request by the stock number associated to the request.
Select Date Range	Search for a request by entering the date range in which it was sent for review.
Select Status	Search for a request by status.
Select Requested By	Search for a request by entering the user ID of the employee who submitted the request.
Select Customer	Search for a request by entering the name of the customer associated to the rental contract.

Fields on the Rate Authorization tab are:

Field	Description
Requested By	The name of the employee who made or is making the request. Highlighted names in this field denote a historical request that has already been either accepted, declined or cancelled.
Location	The location where the request was created.
Contract Number	The rental contract number associated to the request.
Date Requested	The date the request was made.
Customer	The customer associated to the rental contract.
Stock Number	The stock number associated to the request.
Duration	The rental rate duration associated to the request.
Status	The status of the request.

Click an employee name in the Requested By field to approve, deny, or view the details of a request on the Rental Rate Authorization screen.

Click a Customer name to view the associated Customer Profile.

Click a Stock Number to view the associated Equipment Profile screen.
