Alias Account Upload

An Alias Account is used to send financial information to a supplier and to cross-reference your account to the supplier's chart of accounts. When an alias account is loaded in the system, the alias account field entry is used instead of your account number. The same alias account can be used on more than one G/L account. The total of all G/L accounts using the same ALIAS accounts will be calculated and transmitted.

Note:  The features that need to be licensed to select the related vendor are:
Deere: 6163 (JD Quote II)
CNH: 6191 (CNH Financial Data)
Bobcat: 6210 (Bobcat Financial Data)
If the dealer is not a John Deere, CNH, or Bobcat dealer then the vendor field is blank.

To open the Alias Account Upload screen, from anywhere in IntelliDealer, navigate to Financial Management > General Ledger > Chart of Accounts. A hyperlink to the Alias Account Upload screen is located on the bottom right hand side.

OEM Alias Account Requirements

Each OEM provides a recommended list of alias accounts. Once you select the desired .CSV file and dealer you are uploading mappings for, click Upload to add records to the IntelliDealer database.

With vendor information added the Alias Account information is displayed:

Uploaded .csv files MUST be formatted in this manner:

Alias accounts can be edited in or added to IntelliDealer several ways, depending on the OEM:

  • Bobcat—navigate to Configuration > Interfaces > Bobcat > Alias Account > Alias Account Management

  • CNH—navigate to Configuration > Interfaces > CNH > Alias Account > Alias Account Management

  • John Deere—navigate to Configuration > Interfaces > John Deere > Alias Account > Alias Account Management

The fields on the Alias Account Upload screen:

Field Description
Select File

Allows you to select a .CSV file containing the Alias Account information.

Note:  Leading zeroes may not show in EXCEL but need to be present to display information in the Company/Display columns.
Dealer

A drop down list of all available dealers.
