Rental Rates

Use the Rental Rates screen to select a rental rate from the list on a rental contract.

To open the Rental Rates screen, open the Rental Details tab on the Rental Counter and click More >>.

The fields on the Rental Rates screen are:

Field Description
Level

The rental pricing level for the rates displayed in the list. Available options are:

  • None—the default rental rate used when the customer has no rental price level assigned at the contract location, or when no valid rate exists for the customer's assigned level.
  • 1, 2, 3, or 4—alternate rates for customers assigned that rental price level at the contract location. Assign levels on the Rental Price Level section of the customer Rental & Service tab.

Select a level to view the rental rates configured for that pricing tier for each duration.

When a customer is on a rental contract, IntelliDealer uses the customer's rental price level for the contract location to select the matching rate. If no rate exists for that level, or the level rate is zero or has no sale account, the system uses the rate configured for None. Rates are configured on the Category Class Profile: Rental Rate Types tab.
Rates The rental duration or period, for example day or month.
Regular The cost of the rental duration or period.

Click Close when you finish working on the Rental Rates screen.
