John Deere: Equipment Upload Configuration
The John Deere Sales Center (JDSC) Equipment Upload allows the dealer to use the data from an upload to create customer quotes in the John Deere Quote system.
First, you must first do an initial transmission of all equipment records using the Transmit option. After the initial transmission of all equipment records, the IntelliDealer interface continues to transmit changes to Equipment Profile records to the John Deere Sales Center website every five minutes.
You can access the Equipment Upload screen from Configuration > Interfaces > John Deere > Equipment Upload.
Equipment Upload Tab
The currency used on equipment units is pulled from the Company options on the System Settings: Company screen in which the equipment unit is located.
The fields on the Equipment Upload tab are:

| Owner Account |
The John Deere dealership account number. This field is automatically filled in with a default value, but you can change it if it is incorrect. Note: If you change this field from the default and have previously transmitted, select the Transmit All Inventory checkbox, click Save, then click Transmit. It can take some time for this process to complete, depending on how many records you need to transmit. |

Use the drop down to select, where None indicates to use the default Sales Center pricing values. Consult John Deere for details. |

| Base Record Pricing |
Determines the price used for the Base Record pricing. Chose one of:
Note: If you change this setting, enable the Transmit All Inventory checkbox, click Save, then click Transmit. This can take some time depending on how many records you need to transmit. |
| Transmit All Equipment Identifiers | If selected, IntelliDealer transmits all equipment that has a equipment identifier loaded and everything included based on the other tabs. |
| Transmit All Inventory |
If selected, IntelliDealer transmits all current inventory and any invoiced equipment records in the past 60 days, that matches the search criteria. Tip: Select this option if you have saved any configuration changes that you want to apply. This updates all of your current inventory and the invoiced equipment records from the past 60 days. |
| Last Updated |
Indicates the last time the Transmit All Inventory was run. If Last Updated is blank, it indicates that Transmit All Inventory has never been run. If so, click the Transmit button to send all equipment records to Sales Center because this initial transmission of inventory must be run first before the nightly updates occur. |
Use these buttons to complete your work on the Equipment Upload tab:

Transmits data to John Deere. The first transmission can take some time to complete and you will receive a notification when the batch job has completed. After the initial transmission, the interface transmits changed records every 5 minutes. |
Owner Account Tab
Use the Owner Account tab to override the account number specified on the Equipment Upload tab for a specific company/division.
Click Create to add a new entry, specifying the company, division and account number.
Equipment Makes Tab
Use the Equipment Makes tab to specify which makes will be transmitted by company and division. If the list is empty, ALL makes from ALL companies and divisions will be transmitted.
Click Create to create a new entry for a Division.
Locations Tab
Use the Locations tab to specify the locations for which to transmit data to John Deere. If the list is empty, all locations are transmitted.
Click Create to add a location to the list.
Equipment Types Tab
Use the Equipment Types tab to specify which type of equipment will be transmitted to John Deere. If the list is empty all types are transmitted.
Transmit Single Unit Tab
Use this tab to specify a single unit to transmit to John Deere.
