John Deere: DTF

DTF (Data Transfer Facility) is a communication protocol utilized by John Deere. They send a multitude of different files via this process. DTF files can include: price files, parts equipment orders, and various other pieces of data.

To open the John Deere DTF screen, hover over the Configuration link from anywhere within IntelliDealer and select Interfaces> John Deere> DTF from the drop down list.

The John Deere DTF screen allows you to configure the email address that receive price update confirmation emails from the John Deere Data Transfer Facility (DTF) after it has successfully transmitted parts price updates.

These fields appear on the John Deere DTF screen:

Field	Description
Parts Price Email	The email address that you want to receive the confirmation emails to.

The Use New Transmit Process checkbox is used if data transmissions occur from the JD Prism interface.

These buttons allow you to complete your work on the John Deere DTF screen:

Button	Function
Save	Saves the Parts Price Email address and closes the screen.
Receive DTF Files	Clicking this button executes a transfer of any DTF files that John Deere may have awaiting transfer.
Send DTF Files	Clicking this button executes a transfer of any DTF files that are currently within IntelliDealer that are to be sent to John Deere.
