Partmast Import

Use the Partmast Import screen to import a CSV file to update the PARTMAST file.

The Partmast Import screen is accessed from the Parts Utilities screen by clicking the PARTMAST Import Update link.

Note: All files updated during the PARTMAST import are immediately processed. This feature is for DPM (Deere Dealer Parts Management) ONLY and is not supported for any other users. DPM assumes responsibility for all updates to the parts master using this utility.

Fields on the Partmast Import screen are:

Field	Description
File to Upload	Attach the CSV file you wish to upload to the system by clicking the Browse button or manually enter the name of the file.

Use these buttons to complete your work on the Partmast Import screen:

Button	Description
Upload	Uploads the CSV file to the system updating the PARTMAST file and runs a PARTMAST update report. Updates applied to the PARTMAST file are checked for errors before the PARTMAST file is updated. If any errors are found during the editing process, a report is generated outlining the errors and the PARTMAST file is not updated. Fields on the report that have a # sign indicate that the corresponding fields on the PARTMAST file are not updated.
Close	Closes the Partmast Import screen and returns to the Product Support Quick Links screen.
