Billing Analysis
Use the Billing Analysis screen to view billing analysis. The Billing Analysis screen includes quote amounts, while Area Sales only reflects actual sales recorded in the revenue accounts. For actual revenue figures, see the Area Sales screen.
To open the Billing Analysis screen, navigate to Product Support > Service > Analysis Reports.
The search fields on the Billing Analysis screen are:

| Select by | Search for billing analysis by selecting a means to search by (e.g. technician, type or reason). |
| Subtotal by | Select the means to subtotal the billing analysis search results by (e.g. technician, type, or reason). |
| Include Type | If selected, includes specific billing types within the billing analysis search results (e.g. all, internal, warranty, or customer). |
| Include Totals | If selected, includes totals within the billing analysis search. |
| Select Technician | Search for billing analysis by entering a technician. |
| Select Location | Search for billing analysis by entering a location. |
| Select Date Range | Narrow down the billing analysis search results by selecting a billing run date range. |
The fields on the Billing Analysis screen are:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Technician | The name of the technician. |
| Work Orders | The number of work orders the technician has worked on. |
| Segments | The number of segments associated with the selected technician. |
| Parts | The total amount (in dollars) of parts sold on the work orders the selected technician worked on. |
| Labor | The total amount of labor hours charged to the work orders the selected technician worked on. |
| Other | Any other miscellaneous charges associated with the work orders worked on by the selected technician. |
| Total | The total amount of charges for work orders worked on by the selected technician. |
Click on a Technician to see a breakdown of the technician's assigned work orders.
Click the Total button to open the Totals screen, which displays totals of the fields that appear on the Billing Analysis screen.
