Service Reports: Quote Gain or Loss

Use the Quote Gain or Loss tab to compare quoted service hours (as defined by the quoted amount on the Quote/Estimate tab of a work order) to the actual service hours performed by a specific technician.

To open the Quote Gain or Loss tab, navigate to Product Support > Service > Analysis Reports.

Note:  This report uses labor and quote data from Closed and Billed work orders only.

The search fields on the Quote Gain or Loss tab are:

Option Description
Select Technician Search for service hours by technician.
Select Inside/ Outside/ Shift Search for service hours performed Inside or Outside of the dealership, or during a specific shift.
Select Location Search for service hours by location.
Select By Search for service hours by the Billing Run Date of the labor or the Labor Date on which the service was actually performed.
Select Date Range Search for service hours by entering the date range in which the labor was performed.

The fields appear on the Quote Gain or Loss tab are:

Field Description
Technician The name of the technician who performed the service.
Standard Hours

The total number of quoted Labor Hours (as defined on the Quote/ Estimate tab) on all work orders assigned to the selected technician during the specified date range.

Hours Worked The total number of Labor Hours actually performed by the selected technician (as defined on the Quote/ Estimate tab) on all work orders assigned to them during the specified date range.
Gain/ Loss The difference between the Standard Hours and Hours Worked.
Rework Hours

The total number of labor hours on rework work orders where the selected technician is listed as the Original technician on the Segments tab.

Use this button to complete your work on the Quote Gain or Loss tab:

Button Function
Totals Opens the Totals screen, which displays the Standard Hours, Hours Worked, Gain/ Loss and Rework Hours totals.
