Komatsu Parts Order Transmit
Use the Komatsu Parts Order Transmit screen to configure and submit parts orders to Komatsu.
To access this screen, navigate to Product Support > Parts > Parts Ordering, create a parts order for a Komatsu vendor, release the order, then click the Transmit button.

Parts Tab
The Parts tab displays order information and allows you to configure Komatsu-specific order settings before submission.
The fields on the Parts tab are:

| Dealer Code | Select the Komatsu dealer number for the location placing the order. |
| Order Number | The order number as it appears in IntelliDealer. |
| Discount % | The discount percentage applied to this order. |
| Program | A program code indicating if the order is a special order program. |
| Vendor | The name of the Komatsu vendor for this order. |
| Order Type | The type of parts order. |
| Delivery Date | The date the order is expected to arrive. |
| Allow Part Substitution? |
Select this checkbox to allow Komatsu to substitute parts if the ordered part is not available. This setting is on by default within the system. |
| Allow Order Mixing? | Select this checkbox to allow the order to be mixed with other orders for shipping. |
| Shipment Method | Select the shipment method from the drop-down list: Surface or Air. This field is required. |
| Order Class | Select the order class from the drop-down list: Stock, Firm Future Order, Emergency, or Critical Order. This field is required. |
| Machine Model | Enter the machine model number. This field appears only when Order Class is set to Critical Order. |
| Machine Serial Number | Enter the machine serial number. This field appears only when Order Class is set to Critical Order. |
| Customer Name | Enter the customer name. This field appears only when Order Class is set to Critical Order. |
| Failure Details | Enter details about the failure requiring the parts. This field appears only when Order Class is set to Critical Order. |
| Carrier Code | Select the carrier code from the drop-down list. This field appears only when Order Class is set to Critical Order or Emergency. |
| Carrier Account Number | Enter the carrier account number. This field appears only when Order Class is set to Critical Order or Emergency. |
| Select All For Core Return? | Select this checkbox to mark all parts on the order for core return. |
Order Availability Section
The Order Availability section displays parts availability information and allows you to search for availability details.
The fields in the Order Availability section are:

| Interchangeability | Select the interchangeability option from the drop-down list to filter availability results. |
| Reman | Select this checkbox to include remanufactured parts in the availability search. |
Click Availability Search to retrieve availability information for the parts on the order.
The availability grid displays information for each part on the order, including line number, part number, ordered quantity, core return status, replacement parts, and availability indicators. Expand a row to view detailed availability information including distributor names, quantities, stock points, and sourcing indicators.
Shipping Address Tab
The Shipping Address tab displays and allows you to edit the shipping address for the order.
The fields on the Shipping Address tab are:

| Ship To Name | The name of the person or location receiving the shipment. |
| Address | The street address line 1 for the shipping address. |
| Address Line 2 | Additional address information, such as suite or apartment number. |
| Address Line 3 | Additional address information. |
| Postal/ZIP Code | The postal or ZIP code for the shipping address. The system automatically determines the country based on the postal code format. |
| City | The city for the shipping address. |
| Province | Select the province from the drop-down list. This field appears only when Country is set to Canada. |
| State | Select the state from the drop-down list. This field appears only when Country is set to USA. |
| Country | Select the country from the drop-down list: Canada or USA. |
| Contact | The contact name or phone number for the shipping address. |
If the order is created through parts invoicing and is associated with a customer, the customer address is imported into the Shipping Address tab. When the order is submitted, the address is validated and you are given the opportunity to select from a formatted address if one is found.
Special Instructions Tab
The Special Instructions tab allows you to enter special instructions to transmit to Komatsu with the order.
The field on the Special Instructions tab is:

| Special Instructions | Enter up to 65 characters of special instructions to transmit to Komatsu with the order. A character counter displays the number of characters remaining. |
Buttons
Use these buttons to complete your work on the Komatsu Parts Order Transmit screen:
| Button | Description |
|---|---|
| Submit | Submits the parts order to Komatsu. A confirmation dialog appears before submission. If the submission is successful, a summary screen displays the Komatsu order number and any messages. If individual parts are rejected, they appear in the list with a message stating why they were rejected. If the order is unsuccessful, error messages are displayed at the top of the screen. |
| Close | Closes the Komatsu Parts Order Transmit screen and returns to the previous screen. |
If the number of parts on the order exceeds the value configured in the Line Items field of the Komatsu Parts Ordering configuration, the order is submitted as a batch. An email and IntelliDealer message are sent to the user confirming the transmission and containing the Komatsu order number.
If any individual parts are rejected for any reason, the rejected part appears in the list with a message stating why it was rejected. If that part is able to be re-ordered, a new order must be created containing that part, as Komatsu does not allow orders to be re-sent.
