Work Order Assignment
Use the Work Order Assignment screen to change estimated hours on a work order.
To access the Work Order Assignment tab navigate to Product Support > Service > Supervisor, click the Work Order Assignment tab, then click an Estimated Hours link.
The fields on the Work Order Assignment screen are:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Segment | The segment number of the selected work order. |
| Description | A job code description for this segment of the work order. |
| Status | The status of the work order (customer, warranty or internal). This status identifies how the work order will be billed. |
| Hours Worked | The amount of hours work on the selected work order. |
| Original Estimated Hours | The estimated hours. The amount of labor hours it should take to finish the work on the work order. |
| New Estimated Hours | Enter the new estimated hours worked on the selected work order. |
| Comment | Enter a comment describing why the work order segment estimated time is being adjusted. |
Use these buttons to complete your work on the Wok Order Assignment screen:

|---|---|
| Save | Saves changes made on the Work Order Assignment screen. |
| Close | Closes the Work Order Assignment screen without saving and returns to the Work Order Assignment tab. |
