John Deere eCommerce: Default Customers
The Default Customers tab requires default customers to be created for each division which receives eCommerce orders. This customer is used when creating the parts invoice in the system, as John Deere does not currently provide an IntelliDealer customer number.
The default customer is also used to drive the Deposit Cash Codes on the next tab. Ensure that the customer chosen to be the default customer for the location has the same default cash code as selected on the next tab.
Note: The default customer should also be configured as Tax Exempt as John Deere does not provide tax handling through the eCommerce integration.
