John Deere eCommerce: Tax Exempt Codes
Use the Tax Exempt Codes screen to specify each location's exempt codes to be applied to the invoice header/line items for each of the four IntelliDealer tax codes. This can be useful when dealerships are located in areas with different tax laws.
Tip: For easier reporting, create a new tax exemption code specifically for John Deere eCommerce transactions.
If you are using Avalara, the tax exempt code is automatically set to CDKOMIT. See AvaTax: Parts.
You can access the John Deere eCommerce Tax Exempt Codes by navigating to Configuration > Interfaces > John Deere > eCommerce, and clicking the Tax Exempt Codes tab.
