A/R Agency - Internal
Use the A/R Agency tab to set up or authorize a payment method (A/R Agency code) for the customer. The payment type is set on the Details tab of the invoice, in the Cash Code field. An A/R Agency code is a type of Cash Code, which is configured on the Accounts Receivable - Cash Codes screen. The A/R Agency tab is available from any of these invoices:
The Interstate Billing Service (IBS) A/R Agency screen has fields similar to the ones described below.
The information fields on the A/R Agency - Internal tab are:

| Order Number | The order number of the invoice. |
| Customer | The name of the customer associated with the invoice. |
| VESign | Indicates whether there is a VESign document associated with the invoice, and if so, its status. |
| Location | The location where the invoice was originally created. |
The fields on the A/R Agency - Internal tab are:

| Agency Code | The agency code that the credit will be charged to for this transaction. |
| Card Number | The customer's card number. |
| Authorization Number | Enter the authorization number received from the third party credit agency. |
| Credit Limit | The customer's maximum credit limit as loaded for this A/R agency code on the Customer Profile screen. |
| Transaction Limit | The customer's maximum transaction limit as loaded for this A/R agency code on the Customer Profile screen. |
| Chargeable Amount | The total actual value of the charge. |
| Expiry Date | The date the A/R agency card expires. |
Note: The configuration in the Accounts Receivable Account(s) per Invoice field determines whether the system checks the credit limit, transaction limit, or both when authorizing a sale.
For the Internal cash code, to authorize the transaction, enter your authorization number and click the Authorize button. Once authorized, the A/R Agency tab for the invoice closes.
The IBS cash code includes the Voice Authorize button. Click this button when you have called in to the agency for a verbal authorization of the credit account. When you select the Voice Authorize button any Transaction Number field switches to an Authorization Number field and you will need to type the authorization number that you received from the A/R Agency to record it with the transaction.
