2nd Technician Logged on

Use the 2nd Technician Logged on screen to log onto a work order as a second technician to assist another technician on a work order.

The 2nd Technician Logged on screen can be accessed from the Logged on screen by clicking on the 2nd Tech button.

Assigning a Second Technician on a Work Order Within IntelliTech

You can use the 2nd Tech button when a technician needs assistance on a work order and you are available to help.

  1. From anywhere in IntelliDealer, navigate to Product Support > Service > IntelliTech.

  2. To search for the technician you wish to assist, enter their technician's number into the Select Technician field, then click GO>> to generate the search.

  3. In the Log on field, click the On link.

  4. Click the 2nd Tech button.

  5. Enter your technician's number - or - click the Search icon next to the Select Technician field to search for and select a technician number.

    The 2nd Technician Log On screen appears with the selected technician number in the Select Technician field.

  6. Click Log on.

    A separate Logged on screen appears, showing the second technician's Log On Elapsed time.

Select Technician

Enter your technician number or search for a technician number by clicking the Search icon.

Use these buttons to complete your work on the 2nd Technician Logged on screen:

Button Function
Log on Logs the second technician onto the work order.
Close Closes the 2nd Technician Logged on screen and returns to the Logged on screen.
