Product Support - Inspections
To access the Work With Security Switches screen, click the link for the desired system or switch. You can control access to the security switch for individual users or user groups.
| Security Switches - Equipment Evaluation | |

| Access | Gives the user access to the Used Evaluations/Inspections screen at Product Support > Equipment > Used Evaluations. The user must also be configured with a specific Evaluation/Inspection Area through the Administration Setting - User Section in order to access this application. |
| Must Complete Inspection | When enabled, the entire inspection must be completed before the evaluation can be forwarded on (forwarding an evaluation to service is excluded from this logic). |
| Allow Update of Equipment Master |
Gives the user access to the Copy Evaluation Options screen through the Features tab by clicking on the Click here to update equipment master with options link (inspections only). |
| Access Multimedia | Gives the user access to the Multimedia tab through the Used Evaluation screen by clicking on an Evaluation Number. The multimedia that is maintained on the tab is the same multimedia as found in the Equipment Profile for the specified stock number. If the evaluation is set up using no stock number, the Multimedia tab does not appear even if the switch is enabled. |
| Modify Multimedia | Allows the user to modify a multimedia link added to the Multimedia tab. When enabled, the object title is a highlighted link. |
| Add Multimedia | Allows the user to add a multimedia link to a used evaluation from the Multimedia tab. When enabled, the Click here to add new link link appears. |
| One Feature From Each Section Mandatory |
When enabled, one feature from each section on the inspection's Features tab must be filled out before you can forward the used evaluation. Sections are determined by the change in option codes start digits. |
| Secure Manual Inspections To Creator | Allows the user to secure inspections to that inspection's creator. When enabled, the inspection is checked if it is "in use" before going into the details. This is because in some cases, editing an inspection can change the status and assign the current user to it. For example, changing to "Being inspected by" the current service rep. |
| Edit Non-Manual Inspections | This switch is only used for the inspection listing screen. Allows you to edit non-manual inspections if they are opened from their respective system, Traffic and MobileTech. |
