Product Support - Service Scheduling

To access the Work With Security Switches screen, click the link for the desired system or switch. You can control access to the security switch for individual users or user groups.

Security Switches - Service Scheduling
Access

Gives users access to the Service Schedulingat Product Support > Service > Service Scheduling, allowing them to schedule work orders using the Work Order Service Scheduling screen or the Technician Service Scheduling screen.

The screen shown depends on the value configured for Service Scheduling Method, on the Configuration > Miscellaneous > Other > System Settings, Location tab . The display is either the Technician Service Scheduling screen (Technician) or Work Order Service Scheduling screen (Work Order) .

Edit Work Order

When enabled, allows any open work orders currently not in use by another user to be edited from the Work Order Service Scheduling screen or the Technician Service Scheduling screen when the icon is clicked. When not enabled, clicking the icon displays the Work Order Details screen which displays read-only information.

Display Technician Number When enabled, includes the technician number in the list of technicians displayed on the Work Order Service Scheduling screen.
Edit Technician Info

When enabled, displays the Edit Technician icon next to each technician listed on the Technician Service Scheduling screen, allowing you to edit their Road Technician setting, Service Location, Shift or shift hours

Note:  Changing any of the aforementioned settings using the Edit Technicianicon can result in a number changes for the work orders assigned to the selected technician. For details, see the Drag and Drop Service Scheduling Overview.
