Product Support - SAM

To access the Work With Security Switches screen, click the link for the desired system or switch. You can control access to the security switch for individual users or user groups.

Security Switches - SAM
Access SAM via Equipment Gives the user access to the Service Agreements screen at Product Support > Equipment > Service Agreements.
Access SAM via Service Gives the user access to the Service Agreements screen at Product Support > Service > Service Agreements.
Access SAM via Rental Gives the user access to the Service Agreements screen at Product Support > Rental > Service Agreements.
Modify SAM Allows the user to save changes, expire, recalculate dates and print service agreements on the Contract Detail tab. When enabled, Save, Expire, Recalculate Datesand Print buttons appear.
Allow Quote Values Allows the user to access the Quote Values screen through Contract Detail tab. When enabled, a Quote Values button appears.
Link to Completed Work Order Gives the user access to the Link to Completed Work Orders screen, used to manually add completed service to the agreement. When enabled, a Link to Completed Work Orders option appears on the pop-up menu on the agreement Contract Detail tab.
Allow Quick Add Allows the user to quick add a work order or job request from the Open Work Orders screen. The Quick Add Work Order/Request link appears when the switch is set to Work Order only, Job Request only, or Either a Work Order or Job Request.
Access Multimedia Gives user access to the Multimedia tab when creating or modifying a service agreement.
Add Multimedia Allows users to add multimedia files to a service agreement from the Multimedia tab.
Modify Multimedia Allows users to modify or delete multimedia files associated with a service agreement from the Multimedia tab.
Transfer A Contract To A New Stock Number Gives users access to the Transfer link on the Contract Detail tab, allowing them to transfer a service agreement to a different stock number.
